Fresh pineapples
 are delicious and packed with vitamin C. Are you a little intimidated by that prickly, tough-looking rind, though? Not to worry--here's a video I made a while back to show you how to quickly and easily slice a fresh pineapple--without wasting half of it!

In the video I also explain why it's best to buy whole pineapples and cut them yourself and I offer some fresh new ways to add pineapple to your menu plans.

Hi! I'm Dr. Tina Marcantel and today I want to talk to you about a delicious protein booster.

These are our ingredients. It's very simple: you just measure out, you mix it together, and you enjoy it.

Right here we have yogurt, and I have chosen Fage yogurt because it's very creamy and it's delicious. I measure out 8 ounces of the yogurt.

Then we have the peanut powder. I use the Jif, you can use other peanut powders, but the reason I like the Jif is because it only has 1 sugar per serving. I use 2 tablespoons of this peanut powder.

I also use about 6 ounces of fruit. I'm going to put apples because I like the crunchy texture in my yogurt, and I'm going to put pineapple, because pineapple has a lot of vitamin C, it has bromelain, which is a very good anti-inflammatory, and it's very sweet, it's a natural sweetener.

 Try this healthful banana-chocolate shake for a cool treat!

Hi! I'm Dr. Tina Marcantel and I have a great recipe for you today for a banana chocolate shake.

Let's talk about the ingredients first:

*3/4 cups cold water
*6 oz. of frozen bananas (that usually equals 1 1/2 to 2 bananas)
*one tbsp of unsweetened cocoa
*a few drops of stevia

Blend and enjoy!

Okay, here's how simple it is: we put our 3/4 cup of cold water in here, we put our 6 oz of frozen bananas. I'm going to put a few drops of stevia. You can use plain stevia or chocolate--either one of them is going to be really good. Put that in there with one tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa. Let's blend that up, quick and easy.

And here we go. Look at that consistency. Perfect! Delicious.

“Alice” came into my office with signs of irritability, anxiety, headaches, and insomnia. Her physician had put her on an antianxiety medication. They had run a lot of different tests and couldn’t figure out why she was having so much anxiety.

She also had a very strong odor to her urine and all the tests ruled out a urinary tract infection. So she was very confused about what was going on.

She came into my office and we sat down and did a thorough history together. And then the pulled out a large shopping bag of supplements.
